The DuPage Township Youth Service Department was established to support and provide Youth Services to its residents. The Youth Department is dedicated to offering educational and recreational programs that provide guidance, direction, and encourage healthy life shaping decisions. Our goal is to provide and expose the youth to programs that are fun, that offer prevention services, safety awareness and build self-esteem and self-confidence.

Thanks to the Dupage Township and Rocket Ice Arena this program is free of cost, and takes place during the summer month of August for duration of three weeks. | Hey kids! Come on down to the Dupage Township for fishing fun in the sun! This program consists of learning the fundamentals of fishing as well as an outdoors experience that you’ll never forget. | Dinner and a Movie NEW! | |
| Hey Kids! Come on down to the Levy Center for a fun-filled evening of food and entertainment! The Dupage Township is hosting its first annual Dinner and a Movie Kid’s Style on Wednesday May 26, 2010 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. This event is free of charge and includes popcorn, pizza, playing Nintendo Wii, and a preferred film. | Take Me Out to the Ballgame NEW! | |
| Come enjoy a Kane County Cougars Baseball game in the summer provided by the Dupage Township. In the month of July the Dupage Township staff will be taking the first 25 township youth residents to the Cougars game while supplying free lunch and transportation. It is first come first serve registration and registration will be announced through the Youth Department Newsletter, which is being distributed to the Valley View School District. | Tee It Up Fore Kids | |
A program designed for youth ages 8 – 12 years old who have no previous golf experience. The program runs as a week long summer camp and is designed to teach the fundamentals of the game as well as rules and etiquette. |

STARS Middle School Convention |

The convention takes place each winter and includes students from each Valley View School District Middle School as well as the two parochial schools within the township boundaries. The day-long event is focused on helping students make healthy life decisions and encourage their peers to do the same. |

| Members of the Bolingbrook/Romeoville Coalition for Character Counts! | |
The township served as a founding member of the coalition and continues to participate fully. Character Counts! is a nationally recognized character education program stressing the six pillars of character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. |

| Tools for Schools | |
Through a partnership with the community, the township is able to provide school supplies for families in need. Each student receives the essential supplies such as paper, pencils and glue that will ensure he/she begins the school year with the tools he/she needs to be a successful student. |
